Des Moines County Business Plan Competition

The Des Moines County Business Plan Competition is an initiative by the above community partners to foster new business development that will raise the per capita income and better the quality of life in Des Moines County. The Competition will begin in April 2008 and the winner will be announced in December 2008. The winning team or individual will receive a prize of $4,000 in start-up capital, as well as additional professional support and marketing.  A second team or individual will receive a prize of $1,500 as an honorable mention candidate.
